Salt Box talks Revisited

Instead of watching summer re-runs on television, why not revisit some of our most popular Salt Box lectures on selected Tuesday evenings at North Hills Museum.

This program is designed for those who would like to discover and appreciate North Hills Museum and the surrounding community. Each session will include a power point presentation on a selected theme, a guided tour of the collection where applicable and refreshments. Each lecture is $6.00 per person. Registration required, call 902-532-2168.

7pm – 9 pm

Founded by King George III in 1768, the Royal Academy of the Arts raised the position of artists through education and opportunities to exhibit their work. During the Georgian Period (1714-1830), some of the most famous members included Sir Frances Chantrey, George Chinnery, Francis Cotes, John Hoppner and George Morland, all for you to discover at North Hills Museum.
